The sleek and modern project, winner of the 2020 Chicago Building Congress Merit Award for Commercial Construction Over $50 Million, is a fully functional 110,000 sqft research laboratory with office space, small group conference rooms, a seminar room and laboratory support space. Escarpita was proud to team up with Clark Construction Group, Flad Architects and Argonne National Laboratory on this noteworthy project.

WILL COUNTY COURTHOUSE

This new building replaces the existing courthouse with a 369,000 GSF facility that accommodates 38 courtrooms serving criminal, civil, family, probate, traffic, small claims, foreclosure, and drug courts. The ten-story tower is composed of four court floor plates complete with judges’ chambers and jury deliberation suites. Escarpita was proud to team up with Gilbane Building Company Wight & Company & HOK on this project honored in The American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2018 Justice Facilities Review Awards.

The University of Chicago Woodlawn Commons project boasted 361,096 square feet of Dining, Live-Learn, Indoor and Outdoor Lounges and Study Room space. Escarpita was proud to team up with Turner Chicago, Capstone Development Partners, LLC and Elkus Manfredi Architects on this noteworthy project.
